Infrastructure

The Infrastructure team provides Highways and Civil Engineering expertise and support across the Council’s built environment and public realm. The team is also responsible for various disused railway bridges and structures which span a network of foot and cycle paths in the district, flood water management, and sustainable transport and movement. The latter includes the management of some bus shelters, and street furniture such as benches and way finder signage.

The team also leads on matters relating to the Council's gas, water and electricity supply contracts for its commercial, operational and housing portfolios.
