Planet Mark will open the event with a presentation on The Roadmap to Net Zero – Carbon Jargon Busting. Are you confused by the medley of terms that get thrown around in sustainability? What exactly is the difference between net zero, carbon neutral, carbon negative, climate positive and what the heck are the ‘scopes of emission’? In this session, they will cut through the noise and give you a clear and straightforward approach to understanding net zero and all the carbon jargon that goes with it. You’ll be equipped with an understanding of how to get started and make progress on your own sustainability journey and join the tens of thousands of other organisations who have already committed to the Race to Zero.
- Hertfordshire businesses will share stories on the many benefits they’ve experienced by tapping into support and funding to address the climate change crisis.
- Visit the exhibition, including the Planet Mark stand, who toured the country with the Carbon Battle Bus and ending up at COP 26 in Glasgow.
- Nine of the Hertfordshire Local Authorities have worked in partnership to bring you this FREE event which is funded by the Health Protection Board.
