St Albans City and District Council actively develops, supports and promotes activities that enable everyone in the community to access quality sports, leisure and well being activities. The St Albans Sport and Health Development Team have implemented a number of activity programmes accessible to both children and adults who have a learning and/or physical disability. These projects have been developed to provide a wide range of opportunities in a fun and supportive environment.

The Daylight Club is a friendly social club for adults of working age with physical disabilities who live within the City & District of St Albans.

The Club welcomes new disabled members to swimming sessions and actively encourages their family members and friends to accompany them in order to share the enjoyment and experience.
