New Play Area Coming Soon

The Play Area in Verulamium Park will be replaced in 2019 and it expected to cost in the region of £250,000.

St Albans City & District Council are now working closely with Historic England and the District Archaeologist to ensure that the installation of the new playground equipment does not damage our Parks precious and unique archaeology.  Due to the nature of this we have encountered some delays and are currently aiming to start ground work in late 2019.

Maintenance

All of the Play Areas managed by St Albans City and District Council are inspected weekly by trained staff.

If you need to report a fault please contact the Parks and Green Spaces team.
