Taxi Marshal Scheme

Taxi MarshalsOne of the Community Safety Partnership’s special projects is the St Albans taxi marshal scheme.

This is designed to help people return home safely from bars, clubs and pubs with late licences and to reduce alcohol related violent incidents in the City.

It is currently funded by St Albans City and District Council, Hertfordshire County Council, local educational establishments, and a number of leading local businesses with late night licences.

The Council is in the process of inviting all late night licensed businesses to contribute to the scheme’s running costs.

Businesses and organisations that have signed up as funders to the scheme are listed below (correct at 16 June 2015).

The Community Safety Partnership would like to thank these organisations for their valued support without which we would not be able to provide this important service.
