Works Permits

Where residents or businesses employ contractors or trades people to carry out work at their home or business and there are no off-street parking facilities available, the contractor or trades person may need to park on the road during the controlled hours. St Albans District Council have considered this and offer a works permit which would cover the vehicle for as long as required at a cost of £5.30 per day.

Click apply online at the top of this page and complete the online application After submitting address details you must then select the permit type from the drop down list, you will need to complete the rest of the form. On completion the permit will be posted to the address where the permit is required.
Please note that we require at least 5 working days to process the online application (not including Saturday & Sunday). Please allow an additional 3 working days for delivery.
