Members of the public are able to view planning and tree works applications at the customer services area located on the ground floor of the Civic Centre or online using our planning applications search facility. Unless otherwise advised by letter, site notice or press advertisement, representations should be received by the Call-in Deadline printed at the top of the weekly list on which the application appears. Civic Centre opening times are:
Monday - Thursday 8.45 am - 5.00 pm
Fridays 8.45 am - 4.30 pm.
Details of the previous week's planning and tree works applications will be updated on this page each Monday.
Planning applications, tree work applications and decisions
Details of planning and treework applications registered and planning applications determined by week. Published at the top of each weekly list is the deadline date for the call-in period for District Councillors to call an application in to Committee. Only the following applications can be call-in to Committee: Planning Applications; Householder Applications; Certificates of Lawfulness (Existing); Listed Building Consents; Conservation Area Consents; Advertisement Consents and Telecommunications Applications. Other applications, for example Discharge of Conditions or Non-Material Amendments, are determined under delegated powers.

Tree works applications made prior to 19 June 2015 can be viewed in the Trees and Woodlands section of our website.
For information on the appeals process, please see the Planning Portal's guidance on appeals. Please note that decisions on Householder Planning Applications will be issued within eight weeks. (Planning Inspectorate's Guidance on Householder Appeals.) As soon as we receive the Appeal Decision from the Inspectorate, it will be published on our website and can be viewed using our Planning Applications Search facility by entering the original planning application reference number.
If you have commented on a HOUSEHOLDER or Minor Commercial planning application, which has subsequently been appealed, you will NOT have any further opportunity to comment on that application. Any comments you submitted on the original application will however be forwarded to the Planning Inspectorate. This is a national system introduced by the Planning Inspectorate in April 2009.
For all other applications, comments on appeals must be sent directly to the Planning Inspectorate (www.planning-inspectorate.gov.uk).
