DO recycle all paper (including magazines, yellow pages
except shredded paper (put in with green waste) and
greasy, waxed or shiny wrapping paper (put in black bin).
No need to remove windows from envelopes or tape and staples from cardboard . These can now be removed in the recycling process.
Large Cardboard can now be presented next to your box for collection. Please flattened and leave under or next to the boxes to prevent it blowing away, but it no longer needs to be torn to fit in the recycling box.
DO put your cardboard in with your paper waste, instead of in the green bin.
Flatten and tear to fit in your recycling box if you are able to, however large cardboard will also be collected if it is left flattened next to the boxes.
Extra boxes are available - see below.
DON'T put your cardboard in your green bin any longer
DON'T put out unflattened cardboard for collection.
DON’T put Tetra Pak cartons in your recycling.
