Veolia, St Albans City and District Council's waste and recycling collection partner, would like to invite residents of the St Albans District to a tour of the Materials Recycling Facility, in Rainham on Thursday 22nd June 2017. 

This is where the recycling collected in the District is taken to, to be sorted and sent on for reprocessing into new products. 

The tour will include collection from St Albans Council Offices at 8.30am and return at approx 4pm. Lunch is included.

As part of the visit there will be a number of tours to different parts of the sites as well as presentations about the waste.
