The planning application for the development of a Strategic Rail Freight Interchange submitted to the Council by Helioslough Ltd, will be considered by the Planning Referrals Committee, in the Council Chamber on Wednesday 1st November at 7pm.
There may be a high demand for parking in the Civic Centre car park in Bricket Road on 1st November due to Roy “Chubby” Brown appearing at the Alban Arena at the same time as the meeting to determine Helioslough Ltd’s planning application. Those people considering coming along to the meeting are recommended to park in the multi-storey car parks in Drovers Way and Russell Avenue. Parking in these newly refurbished car parks is free of charge after 6.30pm and they have CCTV on all levels.
Whilst every effort is being made to provide as much seating as possible by using the Committee Rooms on the Lower Ground Floor of the Council offices, where a live webcast of proceedings in the Council Chamber will be screened, it may not be possible to accommodate everyone.
For this reason a webcast will also be broadcast live via a link on the homepage of the Council’s website at www.stalbans.gov.uk. People with access to an appropriate computer with broadband internet access and Microsoft Windows media player will be able to view the meeting without the need to attend in person.
Any residents with disability access requirements who wish to reserve a seat in advance, should contact the Council’s Disability Resources Officer on 01727 819455.
For any other queries relating to the arrangements for this meeting, please contact Committee Administration on 01727 819524
For any queries relating to the planning application, please contact the Planning Department on 01727 819345.
