Equality Act 2010

The Equality Act 2010 legally protects people from discrimination in the workplace and in wider society by reducing inequality and discrimination.

The Act makes treating disabled people less favourably than other people, without justification, unlawful. It also imposes a duty to make reasonable adjustments to avoid disadvantages to people with disabilities.
