St Albans Greener Together

All of us at St Albans City and District Council are thinking about how we can reduce our environmental impact and move away from fossil fuels. We have an important role to play in enabling local businesses, schools, community groups and residents to join us in creating a greener future.

St Albans District is a hive of sustainability activity, and many local projects were started by individuals wanting to do something positive, with the Council supporting their passion.

St Albans Greener Together will encourage and facilitate these activities by inspiring ideas and providing advice from local experts, support, and providing the opportunity to apply for funding to bring forward practical community-based sustainability solutions.

The District Council and the University of Hertfordshire came together to create St Albans Greener Together and now the St Albans Greener Together Team are working with local stakeholders to form a District-wide network. As part of the network members can share ideas and experiences and help other members creating a motivated, interconnected District with a united focus on addressing sustainability issues and enacting meaningful local change.

Whether you are an individual, a business, or a community group you can join St Albans Greener Together and become part of an environmentally conscious community committed to action.

More information will be available soon.
