Getting involved
There are multiple ways in which you can the involved in helping improve sustainability issues in the area.
We cannot make the scale of the changes required by ourselves. It is our hope that local businesses, organisations, schools and groups will recognise the scale of the task required and support the goals of our Sustainability Strategy by developing their own priorities and plans to improve the sustainability of their day-to-day activities.

Would you like to volunteer in the community to engage, inspire and inform residents and local organisations to take action in response to the climate and ecological crisis? The Council are working with Sustainable St Albans to train up a group of Climate Champions who will help us achieve the community engagement actions in the Sustainability and Climate Crisis Strategy.
